Massage therapy loosens the involved muscles leading to better motion and reduction of pain. A series of massage treatments loosens and relaxes the muscles, gradually working into the deeper layers of muscles. This leads to better motion and a reduction of pain. Massage also improves the circulation and helps a person to relax.

Many patients who have never had a therapeutic massage are surprised at how well they feel after having one.

More about our massage therapist:

Michelle is a Licensed Massage Therapist with an additional certification in Asian BodyWork. She attended Pacific College of Health & Science in Chicago, where she learned various therapeutic skills that compliment the massage experience. She grew up learning about massage and kinesiology from various family members who practiced similar professions.

Michelle previously attended Northern Illinois University, where she majored in Psychology and Health Sciences. She cares about her clients, and tries to help them feel better, whenever circumstances allow. Michelle enjoys seeing improvements in her clients, and is happy to provide tips for self massage and stretch techniques to do at home.
